Restoring Hope Fellowship Is Coming
A Church With The Heart Of Jesus Is Organizing Near You
WHO ARE WE
Restoring Hope (RHF) is a fellowship of Christians that is organizing in the Lavon-Wylie Texas community. Our hope is to show a true, authentic, Christian life that restores hope in human potential and helps individuals move toward Christ's promise of abundant life. In essence, we desire to be like Jesus. Everywhere Jesus went he drew people. This drawing was not just for people to hear about the kingdom, but also for people to demonstrate and experience it. During Christ's time people were hurting, struggling, and lost. They needed a touch from God that left them transformed. They needed a miracle. As Scripture teaches, the events that we call “miracles” Jesus understood simply as the kingdom’s breaking into everyday life, transforming what was once broken and dysfunctional into something whole and complete. Jesus demonstrated the kingdom by being willing to challenge any type of brokenness or suffering. This is the call of the Church Universal, to usher in God's kingdom.
This is what we pursue: true Jesus-centered faith. This faith is not just hearing and speaking about what could be, but also demonstrating, experiencing, and living life the way God intends. We experience the in-breaking of the kingdom when marriages are healed, the effects of mistakes are reduced or eliminated, we feel closer to God, pursue justice, learn how to rest, or desire the fellowship of other believers. We pray that you will pray for us as we prepare to plant a church in this emerging area.
